ORGANIZATIONAL CHART

Each BIOXPARC installation is governed by a local Steering Board, that hires the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and all Department Directors. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible to the Steering Board for the implementation of the programs and for the day-to-day running of the BIOXPARC.

Among its tasks, the Steering Board adopts the multi-annual work program, the annual work programs and the annual reports.

The STEERING BOARD is an operating group composed of high top managements appointed directly by the shareholders. The STEERING BOARD has the task of identifying and appointing the CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) and the 10 Department Directors.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible to the Steering Board for the implementation of the programs and for the day-to-day running of the BIOXPARC.

The CEO is appointed directly by the shareholders, and has the task of coordinating the good performance of all the departments of the BIOXPARC, including the Head Quarter Department.

HDQ – HEADQUARTER DEPARTMENT

The Head Quarter Department is responsible for managing all the other departments, through the coordination of planning, action and control  activities.

For this reasons, the Head Quarter Department is highly receptive to the issues and questions raised by the local scientific community and by actors in the economic system at national and international level. Our role is that of an influential and recognized interlocutor, in close contact with the biotech business world, able to leverage the activity of production and the spread of knowledge with particular emphasis on new issues and new challenges.  The Head Quarter Department includes the:  CEO office, Legal Office, Quality Office, Financial Control & Reporting Office, Public Relations Office, Institutional Relations Office

The Head Quarter Department also has the responsibility of establishing and coordinating the activities of all the Committees, using the resources of the various departments, according to the specific multi-departmental activities required by each committee.

Each BIOXPARC installation may require the establishment of different committees (to respond to specific institutional, operational, ethical and / or social requirements): the standard committees are as follows: Scientific Committee, Ethics Committee, Technical Committee, Security & Safety Committee, Bio-Safety Committee, Disclosure Committee.

 

The same Committees of different BIOXPARC can be composed of different components and resources according to the specific local needs decided by the Head Quarter Department.

ADM– ADMINISTRATION  DEPARTMENT

The Administration Department operates as an autonomous organisation of the BIOXPARC. It must therefore have its own administrative and technical support functions for budgetary and strategic planning, calls for tenders, accountancy.

MKT – MARKETING DEPARTMENT

The Marketing Department identifies the areas in which the product fits and where the business should focus its marketing strategy.

COM – COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT

The Communication Department must work closely with other departments to ensure it understands the dynamics of the organization and the information it needs to communicate. The communication department plays a crucial role in BIOXPARC success.

EVN – EVENT DEPARTMENT

The Event Department deals with the management of events. The use of a project, program, action or happening, generally involving public participation, to meet over all organizational goals. Special events often are designed to obtain publicity or other exposure.

GES – GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

The General Service Department takes care of the daily operation of all local and the BIOXPARC structures. The continuous technical support and optimal safety and cleanliness of the laboratories, campus and all other environments within BIOXPARC structures are the backbone of a good biotechnology research.

HRS – HUMAN RESOURSES DEPARTMENT

The Human Resources Department responsibilities include benefits, hiring, firing, and keeping up to date with state and federal tax laws.

TEC – TECHNOLOGIES DEPARTMENT

The goals of Technology Department is to develop applied engineering and technical management skills in the filed of research laboratory. This is accomplished with a mix of fundamental applied knowledge engineering, understanding of the applications and the tools needed in today’s research.

ITC – INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT

The Information and Communication Technology Department develops the field that considers the interaction between humans and information alongside the construction of interfaces, organizations, technologies and systems.

SEC – SECURITY& SAFETY DEPARTMENT

The Security & Safety Department is responsible for the security of the BIOXPARC institution’s property and workers.
