Bioxagropole

Agricultural Eco-Industrial Park

The purpose of BIOXAGROPOLE project is to accelerate economic development in Morocco: this is an integrated project which is a convergence point of several development strategies of the agro-industrial sector in different African countries: Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Guinea, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Gabon, Zambia with the aim to attract workers, support innovation and encourage technology transfer to the private industry .

Two other goals are priorities internationally. BIOXAGROPOLE project, by creating jobs in Africa, will have the capacity to reduce migration flows towards Europe, following the recent directives of the European Union regarding immigration policy ( for example the creation of trustee of the EU emergency fund for Africa, to address the root causes of migration, with the forthcoming creation of a new fund even more important, to create jobs in African countries ). In addition, the project is in the sustainable development plan of Chapter 12 of Agenda 21 of the United Nations in e UNCCD (United Nations Convention on the fight against desertification).
